His remarks have brought criminal, sexist, racist rap music to the forefront . We've all known for years about the outrageous discriminatory and criminal lyrics of rap . Everything from 'F the pOlice' to.. . . . . .. I can't even type the rest, too disgusting .

They exploit women and treat them like nothing more than 'sex objects' .
And Some Of Your Kids Are Listening, Learning, and Emulating their so-called 'heroes' or 'idols' .

Do you think that rap 'musicians' will voluntarily clean-up their act or will it take stricter laws and enforcement ?
Or even less $ales ?

Yahoo recently did a story about the dramatic decline in rap 'music' $ales !!

no, that would require the black community to get off their @ss and start being accountable for their actions, raising their kids, and stop glamorizing the illegal acts that some perpetrate. stop blaming "the man" for their place in life and take an active roll to do better than their parents did and install in their kids to do better than they do.

The saying nappy headed ho was not made up by a 66 year old white man, it was created by young blacks to degrade other blacks. and you get evil men like "cocaine" sharpton or "unfaithful" Jackson to parade around as if they have done one single thing to help the black community. all they do is take money and try to shake people down. and if they arent paid, they will cause a scene. black people used to have real leaders like MLK who wanted equality, not special treatment and hand outs.

The corporation that is contemplating weather or not to fire Imus is the very same corporation that is making millions producing rap music, So if Imus would have added a little rhythm to his "Nappy headed Ho" remark and added a few million to the bank account then all would be forgiven.

Maybe this will is good that it has happened. Today the three guys from duke have been cleared of all charges. Maybe its time that white people start to fight back about all the comments made toward us that we just let roll off us. I think if its was bad for Don Imus to say what he said then it should be as equally bad for a black man to say the same thing. Yet that is all you here when they speak about degradeing women and killing cops im sick of it why its ok for one to say and not the other is a crock of sh*t and its time to put a stop to it.
There use to be a thing called feedom of speech and remember that little childhood ryhme ( Sticks and Stones may break my Bones by Names will never Hurt me ) What has gone wrong with all these people.

Then you have the ones out there tryin to make a buck off all this ( WE KNOW WHY THEY ARE ) Thats how they make there living. I we all just got along they would be out of work and collecting welfare.

I hope the DUKE BOYS (LOL) not the ones from hazard can sue the hell out of that girl that tried to ruin their lives. Even though she has nothing I hope that they see to it that she never will.

Just another case of those that have nothing trying to take it from those that do, is all she is.

Maybe its time for DON IMUS to get out of radio and start fighting for the white man that is always being knocked around and kicked.

Please Don save us.

What about rap and hip-hop?... They're debating this all over cable TV tonight. But what's sad and funny at the same time is that nobody from the black community will just come out and say the truth:

When a black person uses these words it's OK, because he / she is "one of us" and it indicates solidarity and awareness of the black experience. But if a white person says it, it's presumed racist.

Is this the truth? Yes
Is this stupid? Yes
Is this rationalization forgivable? No.

Every dark cloud has a silver lining.
Rap and Hip Hop lyrics should really be put under the microscope.
What's good (or bad) for the 'whitey' Imus should be good (or bad) for the 'n*gger' rap artist. Now don't accuse me of 'racism', not if you look at rap lyrics. They use it, I use it.
No difference.

Dream on. Anything that makes money is going to stay. Rap sales declining has nothing to do with the "bad language" in it. It probably has way more to do with how much the rappers out there now suck and a drop in a boom market.

Worse, Imus and his stupidity have been getting national attention, and there's no such thing as bad publicity. This will only encourage idiots like him to shoot off their stupid mouths for attention.

Yes!

We're all a little prejudiced based on skin color by vision and by what we are used to. Human nature.

Rap is not "music". Maybe this will cause a drift away from it.

This is something conseravtives and politically incorrect liberals with a sense of humor can agree on.

Sincerely yours;

I hope it does. I hear Black people say horrible things about white people when young people are present and it's ok but it is n't ok, it's teaching them to hate the white man too. Imus was making a point and he dared to say it outloud, when a black rapper says kill the ****** on a song, who gets upset? NO ONE. It's horrible, Imus apologized, get over it ,and think about the big picture.

Yeah, Imus will now probably make a lot of money. Think of all the publicity he is getting. A lot of people never had a clue he existed now he is a famous as Tiger.

No you can not call women ho bags, when they made a NCAA championship finals, and on top of that call the Tennessee Vols pretty. Yes, they will get more ratings, by these digusting and repulsive remarks, but i am utterly ill tempered when it comes to these situations.
