You do not have to wait to try and get pregnant. I got pregnant with my daughter the first month I went off the pill. They usually recommend you wait for a couple of months but that is only to regulate your cycle. If you get pregnant the first month off the pill then it is harder to determine the due date. My doctor did an ultrasound at 10 weeks to confirm the due date. There is no danger to the baby if you get pregnant right away, but sometimes if you've been on the pill a while it takes a few months for you to start ovulating again. Good luck to you.

I've been on BC for 3 years, came off it in October and still nothing. :( But, I now know NOT to rely on the online ovulation predictors. I have to learn to just follow my symptoms. I heard it take a few people months for the pill to get out of your system and for your body to regulate itself again. So, don't stress. It's only been a month. Relax, have fun and don't concentrate so much on 'baby makin.' Oh yeah, and always count 14 before your expected period date- that's when you ovulate. Good luck!
