Maybe the water and/ or some organic complex molecules comes from the comets that had felt to the Earth.
Maybe the first living cell come from the comets.

There's a theory (unsubstantiated) that the water on Earth was brought over millions of years by comets smashing down. And, Comets consist of a large amount of water.

There's another train of thought that life didn't actually originate on Earth, but was brought by microbes that may have been attached to comets.

One theory is that life on earth was seeded - brought here on a comet from another part of the universe. I find that quite an exciting idea, and it makes sense to me.

Comets contain the heavy metal elements necessary for life to develop, theoretically. These elements arent found naturally on earth. They originate in outer space.

They are believed by some scientists to have brought the 'building blocks' of life, i.e. amino acids (Which make up protiens) to Earth, where there were the right conditions for them to begin to evolve.
