I just got pregnant, I did not know about cervical mucus!

Your body naturally makes everything ready for the baby when you are ovulating either getting ready to have your period or when you are conceiving.

I never really paid any attention to cervical mucus, I just paid attention to if my period was late, then I took a pregnancy test which I would recommend you to do.

When you're ovulating most women get a egg-white like mucus. This helps the sperm along. If you see that you should try then. I didn't get it when I did get pregnant however.

If you are asking about once you are, then no you don't have to have a lot, but more than likely you will. From about 6weeks on there is no way I would leave the bathroom w/out a panty liner. If you think you are and you don't have any yet, don't let that discourage you... you'll get it soon enough I'm sure.

My first sign of pregancy was my breast being extreamly sore on the outer edges only.

Best of luck.

Cervical mucus can aid in getting pregnant, when it is thin. A common symptom for pregnant womean is increased cervical mucus and discharge.

Many pregnant women notice an increase in CM pretty early on but it isn't a sure sign of pregnancy, some women have no more CM than usual when pg.

No. Having a lot of CM does not mean that you are pregnant. It could mean that you are ovulating. However, if you are pregnant by the 6th week of pregnancy you should have a significant amount of CM.

HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK..................

I actually never noticed it at all throughout my pregnancy. Every woman's body is different and will show different degrees of every "symptom" of pregnancy.

Good luck!
