It's going to depend a great deal on what you like. I will categorize a few for you, and give you a site to read reviews so that you can make up your mind which is the best for you.

Big $$$ productions
Mystere - TI
"O" - Bellagio
KA - MGM
Blue Man Group - Venetian

Big $$$ Stars
Celine Dion - Caesars Palace
Barry Manilow - LV Hilton

Magic
Lance Burton - Monte Carlo
Penn & Teller - Rio

Elvis impersonator
Trent Carlini - Sahara

Old time "Vegas"
Jubilee - Bally's
The Rat Pack - Greek Isles

Best show for the $$
Mac King - Harrah's $7.95 with the coupon they hand out at the booth, located in the Carnival court next to Harrah's

Dirk Arthur - Tropicana $29 - But there are often times 2-4-1 coupons in the free LV magazines in your hotel room or in the ones you can pick up in the hotel gift shop

Larry G Jones - Fitzgeralds $22 - IMHO he's as good as Danny Gans($100)

Best Family show
Tournament of Kings - Excalibur

Best unknown - with a great show
Vinnie Favorito - O'Sheas

Best "impersonator" production show
American Super Stars - Stratosphere - $41 for adults, $31 kids - Check with the promotions booth, they used to give out "funbooks" that had a 2-4-1 coupon for the show. All you had to do to get their funbook was show an ID.

Best Comedy Club for the $$
The Comedy Stop - Tropicana - $19.95

for half price tickets on the day of the show

Both work in similar ways, they open up around 11am-Noon with half price ticktets to that evenings shows. Don't expect to find tickets to any Cirque Du Soleil shows, Blue Man Group etc, but they should have some good seats to many other shows.

There are ways to score last minute "great seats" to the always sold out shows - Check with the tickets office for these shows, they will have a time when unused tickets will go on sale. These tickets will come from casino hosts who hold tickets for their high rollers. These are usually very good seats, though IMHO they are often too close to the stage >for some reason high rollers all have poor eyesight and must sit in the first row< The ticket booth "may" take your cell phone # and give you a call if they get tickets.

This site has every show in LV along with links to it's web site, times, prices, etc and reviews

Wow. That's a hard one. Everyone has different preferences.

You generally can't go wrong with a Cirque show. O, Mystere, KA, LOVE - those all get high marks. I hear mixed things about Zumanity - most people don't like it.

Blue Man Group is fantastic. Mamma Mia gets high marks as well. Spamalot was great on Broadway, so I'm sure it's as good in Vegas.

Danny Gans is supposed to be THE top entertainer in Vegas.
