I just learned from the Forum (shame on me) that if you award someone a best answer, and then that answer receives a violation, your question is removed too.
But,
You don't lose points, and you're not notified via email.

I'm stunned! But it explains a lot.

That does explain a lot. Yahoo! gets curiouser and curiouser every day.
And what I love is when they don't tell you anything and you have to learn things through a third person.

That is crazy, they could at least let you choose a new best answer. I for one do not think that once a question is resolved that any violations should be aloud to happen
