True, babies wake up every couple of hours needing food and a diaper change, but the rest of the time they're out cold (At least that's the lucky experience I've had with our first kid so far).

When they sleeping, the look so innocent and peaceful. They can fall asleep almost anywhere.

newborn babies sleep like 20-23 hours a day for the first few days.

Some babies sleep longer than 2 hours but not many thats for sure. Maybe they mean "slept like a baby kitten" because little baby kitten can sleep for hours and hours.

most babies sleep pretty soundly from what I have heard.
