If you have missed your period and the home pregnancy test says you are pregnant then most likely you are pregnant. You should be having to urinate a bit more frequently too. I am not sure why you don't want to go to the docs as the earlier you get prenatal care if you are pregnant the better it is for both you and the baby. If you are pregnant this a baby's health and life you are dealing with so do both of you a favor and see the doc.

In the end the best way to be certain is to get a blood test. Some pharmacies will have this sort of test over the counter, however if you can not find one you will have to go to the doctor so they can perform this test. Good Luck!

I used a first response early result pregnancy test and it was definately positive. Other than buying a home test there isn't much more you can do than go have a blood test at the doctors office.

Hey, If you think your pregnant I'm going to tell you right now you probably are. Please go to the Doctor, but if your not able to afford that most towns or local towns have a heath department you may go there and pay a min fee to find if your pregnant or also they might be free. Please go to your local Heath Department.
If your not sure where to find them Look in your local phone book and you should be able to find it or search online.
You can search for Wic as well as they are for family's and those who are pregnant and they can point you in the right direction. Go to the website I included also for Planned ParentHood, I believe there prices go on how much you make for a living and if you don't make anything I'm sure they can work with you.

In addition to the blood test, a pelvic exam can determine if the uterus is enlarging.
You can go to a Family Planning office if you don't want to see your regular doctor.

Your only options are to pee on a stick, or go get your blood taken. If you have peed on a stick and it says no, wait a couple of days and try again (if you haven't had or missed your period yet). If you stilll don't believe it go to the doctor.
