I have not seen a whole lot of improvement in free agency in Minnesota. They were the worst team in the NFL last season against the pass, and the only player they have added to the secondary is Mike Doss, not a big improvement there in my opinion.

Still no receivers on offense, and a very green QB in Tavarias Jackson. Just wait until Rick Spielman totally screws up your draft (I speak from experience as Spielman was GM for the Dolphins)

Consider yourself fortunate to play a very weak division, but considering you drew the AFC West and the NFC East on the rotating schedule this season, I think it will be a brutal season in Minnesota.

At the most: 7 wins.
More likely 5-6 wins.
Quite possibly 4 or less wins and a top 5 pick in 2008.

Probably not a good year in Minnesota. Lots of changes, Bears in that division, Packers getting better, Vikes would be lucky to go 7-9 but will probably be worse.

Firstly(is that a word? LOL) I'm a huge long time (1969) Vikes fan but I don't see them winning more than 6 games next seaon. It'll be another rebuilding season. They will be back fully the next year though. I'm sure.

The Vikings have talent on both sides of the ball. TaVaris Jackson is big, strong, mobile quarterback that needs a little tutelage. But the Vikings don't have much competition in their division, so I'd say they could pull out 9.
