just sit her down and let her know not to be so picky over everything let her know that you are there for her if she have any problems and need your help but if there are things that she can handle on her own then don't complain about it if its not a big deal if that is okay with her but let her know that you still wanna be her friend is just that that kinda ticks you off a little bit

I was in your situaton back in January; the friend of mine, she complained instead of having conversations with me, I finally told her I was tired of hearing about things and that she need to s*** or get off the pot with her decisions. Her husband cheated on her two years ago, and he's done everything he can to prove that he's different now, and he is. He's moved on emotionally from it, and they're still together. But she wants to still complain and wine about it, he and I have both told her seperatlely that we're tired of her complaining and that she needs therapy, which she refuses to go. So I cut communication with her. She zapped all of my energy and tried to make me feel bad about my own relationship.

It depends on what she complains about on how to say something to her.
If is is concerning your hair/clothes, then ask for her advice.
If its concerning how she just doesn't like something, ask her if she even tried it.
If she is just complaining to make everybody else day miserable, either be nice or just ignore her. I have one of those at work and she is a pain. When I am sweet like honey, she avoids me for several days. When I am snappy, and tell her how I feel, then she hangs around like a d@$n aggravating fly.

Tell her her life could probably be worse, and start moaning about everything little thing in your life to see if she stops moaning about her own

well whatever it is she's complaining about tell her you understand where she's coming from but you can't tell her what to do because it's her decision to make and if you tell her what to do and it blows up in her face she's going to get mad at you.
