When black people speak about white people it is from a perspective of what we have endured historically at the hands of white people, and personal observation. When white people speak about black people, it is from a condescending belief that they have a right to judge us and to interfere with our culture. The crux of the matter does relate back to slavery and it's a double edged sword. Black people historically are still trying to overcome what essentially was a devastating blow to who we are, and mostly without the reparations due to us by the perpetrators who happen to dominate the society we share. White people never got over the fact or recognized that black people are a strong race of people who were culturally accomplished long before they were and long before we were brought unwillingly to a land to serve them. They constantly try to validate themselves for being a race of people who have that characteristic in them to be the perpetrators of genocide, arrogance and greed, but in order to do that, they need black people to see themselves from the negative perspective reinforced daily by the educational systems and the media, and that is the ultimate and preexisting goal. As a race, black people have been fighting that since our first encounters with Europeans, and it continues everyday. I hope I didn't get too deep for you.

wow, that's a good question, I think it all began with slavery, For some reason there are alot of black people who think that white people owe them something, white people now can't help what their stupid ancestors did. White people are afraid to fire back when blacks blast them for fear of being accused of being prejudiced.

White people can talk about blacks all they want but it's NOT a right to use hate speech or use words that incite violence. Same with blacks talking about whites. Can you please tell me of a national incident where black people talk openly of whites by using derogatory references to race?? Yes, I've heard black people say 'white folks are blah blah blah'. Do you understand the difference in choice of words or not?
