If you have had this problem for months, I would call back your plumber. Usually it just requires a short time to remove the air out of the pipes.

I did this for 30+ years, and all that was required was to run the faucet until the air stopped coming out.

If this has happened as a result of the plumbers work, then i would have definatley have called him back. Really you have left it a bit long, i would still call him and have a chat as to what can be done to resolve this.
It is most likely badly run pipe work, or if it is happening at one tap only then i would have to say there is a problem with the tap

you will would desire to mconnect the chilly and heat faucets with some variety of hosepipe. then you definately open the nice and comfortable tapfullyand slowly open the chilly faucet to permit the chilly water to run in the time of the nice and comfortable water pipes. this shpuld run for about 0.5 a minute. Then turn off the chilly waterand pull the hose off the nice and comfortable faucet and it could have cleared the air lock. yet another reason would desire to be no water in the large tank in the attic. perhaps a caught ball valve.

If there is a spray unit on the new kitchen sink faucet, it might be the source of the air admittance. See if it does it with the sprayer on. We have been having problems with these lately. Chinese parts

If you have a header tank in the attic etc. check that it is filling with water. If it isn't, then you have a fault with the ball valve which most probably has dirt in the valve which is stopping the flow of water to the feed tank.
