It seems to have become a dead trend.
I wonder why people rarely use it anymore?

It's a royal pain. Never could get the hang of it. Shame, beats painting.

People don't use it.
Painting is convenient to change. Wallpaper needs to be scraped off and sanded.... etc.

Plus, there aren't that many trendy looking wallpaperr patterns. The closest thing you are going to see to wallpaper in the future is the little border that goes around the room...and even that is being phased out.

No. We don't have any wallpaper in our house. All of our walls are the same color - white. Wallpaper patterns become dated very quickly.

Yes, my grand-mother changed the one in each room of her house last month! It`s more rarely used because it`s a pain to remove! I removed the one from my bathroom and put simply some nice replaceable stickers of "Nemo" and "Doris" instead. My kids are quite trilled about it!

Its become exceedingly expensive, and unless you can put it up yourself, prohibitively so.
I can hang it so I use it in small halls and my kitchen, but less of it, and with lighter patterns, almost a texture, more than a pattern.
Styles come and go, but unless the expense goes down this is one style that will have difficulty coming back in.

I dont think everyone has quit using it. I suppose just adding a new coat of paint is easier and less time consuming than applying wall paper. Some paper looks really nice.

Only wallpaper I use is on my computer.
I live in an apartment and they frown on creativity here.
