the whole northen hemisphere has summer at the same time, while the southern hemisphere is in winter. During the other 6 months it is in winter, and the southern hemisphere is in summer.

It will be summer in June, on the 21st I believe in the Northern hemisphere. All of the northern hemisphere will experience summer at the same time because of the axial tilt toward the sun occurs during this time. The southern hemisphere doesn't have summer when we do because they are tilted away from the sun, causing them to have winter.

actually nowhere is summer right now. It is spring in the northern hemisphere and fall in the southern hemisphere right now.
