I'm at the start of probate of a parent's estate and siblings are contesting the probate, can the siblings

after probate go after me with a civil suit?

Much will depend on your parent's Will and the State you reside..not enough information.

The case should be heard purely within the probate court, not a separate civil suit, unless you're the executor and have mismanaged the estate assets. They can appeal the probate court's decision, though.

A will contest IS a civil suit. Better to get it resolved now.
