you're 27 not 67! When I was 30 I had a great time in my life and I had 2 kids. I got my first tattoo. Had a 24 yr old boyfriend. I never went to college so I did not experience the "partying" and all that stuff..But I made up for it and I think it is better when you are older because you are a little "wiser" and you aren't as likely to make unsafe or unwise decisions.

It is never too late to start. 27 is a great age. Get some friends together and think up something fun to do. It may not be the stuff you missed - you are a different age now - but you will come up with something. There is a ton of fun to be had in this life - go get some.
I, too, thought I should have had more fun in college. I mean, no one has EVER asked me about the grades I got there. I did have tons of fun, don't get me wrong, but I think of some of the fun things I skipped in order to study.

I'm 26, I work 12 hours on a regular day, 6 days a week, with a very stressfull job (stock market analysis). And I still find time to have my fun and to eat it too... so go out make some friends and make time, find friends that share your interests so it would be work and pleasure at the same time. I don't really go clubbing too much but have dinners often. You are still young... have fun in life

You need to get some perspective. I regret spending so much time going out clubbing in my early 20's when I could have been concentrating on work and college. Everyone has some regrets. It's not too late though if you feel you need some balance in your life by going out and having fun, just do it! Just don't overdo it okay. I mean it's more fun when you're not drunk or wacked out on drugs.

First of all you are not old and still can go out and have fun- there is plenty of single people your age that you will meet in clubs, bars etc. And since it seems like you got stuff accomplished (school, work) it's not like you wasted your time. Believe me, in 10 years you will look back and be happy about it- all these losers that partied all the time instead of getting their diplomas will be working low paying jobs and you will be successful.

I can't get over the fact that your 27 years old and still spell 'the' as 'da' and 'didn't' as 'dint'. So what you're 27. Life isn't over. You'll stop being depressed when you decide to start living life instead of looking back on it.

hear about my life: ever since getting my diploma at age of 18, i started to work. it was my dream to become a secretary. at that time i did not have enough knowledge of any thing, but during work i obsorbed so many things, like english language, typing, book keeping/filling, accounting and you name it!
i dont want to brag about myself but all this experience came from working! i am now 41 years old, singly (but still looking!!) and believe it or not, i sometimes think i have wasted my life, but when i look to some others, i know that i have done the best in my life. WE ARE WHERE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE. so if you compare my education and life and age to yourself, you will make sure that you are the best that you could be! (lets not forget that i am living in iran, where one can not have much joy, due to the islamists.....no bars, no discos, no freedom to live with a man and have a free relationship....)
so be happy where you are, and make the best of your life.
next time when you go to disco, order the DJ to play "lets get laud" and dance it for me.

My sister is a couple of years older then me around the same age as you actually and she said she's glad that she spent all that time in college(over 7 years) cos it paid off. She loves to go clubbing with her friends and throwing parties now that her exams are over. There's plenty of time left for you....Life's a ride and you've just strapped yourself in....
Good Luck!!

Child, your life is just beginning. You have time to do all sorts of things. You can travel, you can try hobbies, you can learn new skills - you have lots of time. You can try different jobs and careers, different haircuts, different boyfriends if you want, too.
Come back and talk to us when you're in your 50's.
Although I'd bet you get almost the same advice then.
