All people make bad decisions at one point in there life. But when it comes to cheating, there are 2 types, the ones who learn from it ( and I dont mean they learn how to not get caught next time) and the ones that dont. If you cheat and you realize how much you hurt the other person, and vow never to do it again, then you have learned from your mistake, but some just cant learn from it and continue to do it. Those are the ones that people need to stay away from. Also if you have cheated on someone, and then later in either the same or a different relationship, someone cheats on you, you get a rude awakening of how it truely feels, and then you will understand how awful it is. I cheated once and was lucky enough to keep the relationship, but then I was cheated on by that person, and believe me, I would never do that again, and as a college student the chance has come up a couple time. Some people just arent strong enough to resist the temptations, and thats pretty much what it boils down to. the ones who can resist and the ones that cant, and thats what makes a person a cheater or not.

I read that too, and I think that being able to change is not in the "cheater", nor in the circumstances, but in the character of the person him/herself (Yes, us girls cheat too)

There are different factors as to why people cheat, and there are also differents factors that might bring a change to a "cheater" or not.

You know I think that a one time cheater has the ability to change because they realize they're just not that "type" of person but in my opinion, a person who has cheated multiple times is probably just addicted to it in a way...

I read it too. I agree with what was said. In the same relationship, they cannot change, but they can change for a new one.

I don't cheat anymore and I am in the same relationship. In fact we got married and he knows that I cheated on him when we were dating. Been married for 7 years.
