help raise money?

i need help to raise money for a basketball tournment . Can you tell me what i can do to raise money my basketball team?

car washes are popular for team sports. find a local business that will allow you to use their parking lot and get the teamates and the cheerleader together to wash some cars.

another thing is you could advertise that for 1 month (or however long you have until the tournment) a teammate will mow their yard once a week. a temporary thing only (plus this will set up you and your friends in the community in case you want to earn some extra cash later on.)
but it works really well.

also condsider doing an event where you allow the public (or the local elementary kids) to play basketball with you and go charge admission and let the kids be sponsered by friends and family for free throws (i mean, the can ask for support from their families to donate 25 cents for every free throw they make on a child sized basketball hoop.

Wel u can do is get your team and go on corners by the street and ask will you donate to whoever your team name or you can go out and ask your Coach to make a letter that haves everything about your team and what are you raising money for. That usually helps cause my team have been doing it. Ok good luck on that

go can shaking meaning you go to a nearby store and ask for permission 2 stand outside and ask people for money as they walk in and out but you can to have proof, or you can have a carwash, or you can have a dinner, or you can have a candy paper

you could have a car wash or you could sell some type of dinners (usually grocery stores are happy to offer discounts or even donate food) OOORRRR you could have a benefit tournament...
