California
Animals are banned from mating publicly within 1,500 feet of a tavern, school, or place of worship.
Michigan
Any person over the age of 12 may have a license for a handgun as long as he/she has not been convicted of a felony.
Ohio
It is illegal to get a fish drunk.
Virginia
No animal may be hunted for on Sunday with the exception of raccoons, which may be hunted until 2:00 AM.
New York
The penalty for jumping off a building is death.

There is no One dumbest law but there are many that while at one time may have had merit should be stricken off the books to keep up with the times. Some of them if you abide by them you will be breaking another law.

We still have some of the old blue laws here in Indiana. You're not allowed to buy liquor from liquor stores or sell cars on Sunday. You can bet that upsets people on race weekend! And back in the 1880's, the dear Indiana Legislature even passed a law defining pi as 4!
