are there certain types of discs i need for that? data cd's?,any certain download software? i usually burn on windows media player (audio (not data)....

Use only DATA CDR's to burn any programs, games or other data. You will need a program like Nero, Roxio, NCI etc to burn a disc for a game. It all depends on how you got the game if you got it in an image form, you will have to burn it as an image in the program of your choice in order for it to work properly on another PC.

burn it with softwares like NERO as data or just copy downloaded files to cd drive like normal copy and at the top left windows of cd drive click write these files to cd !
and not any special cd is required !
