Hi, I am trying to find out what is cheaper, our apt central heating or a heater? bills are too high, so i'm curious.

If you can confine you heating to a room or two then scrap the "central heating" No point in heating 75% of the space you are not occupying.

What are you trying to heat? If it is just one room, then you can get a small electric heater. They use resistive current to heat and they will draw a bunch of current, but it will keep you warm. The central heating will be more efficient, to keep the whole house warm. The decision is yours, heat costs money, how warm do you want to be?

If you are talking about an electric heater they use a LOT of electricity and your bill will go higher.
Also of course, gas prices have gone through the roof.. Theres no real relief either way. But you don't really give enough info. This is just a guess.
