I have to agree, there are a lot of red flags, but the dumper or person asking for divorce just is really lousy about communicating because they are confused and have problems being assertive.

A little assertiveness training would make the world a happier place.

I've never had this happen, but a friend of mine did. Actually, it's funny, because she said she didn't see any warning signs, but I did, and so did her family. So, I think that sometimes people just don't want to see things.

Anyone who may be dumped for seemingly no reason would be an indication (to me) that the 'dumpee' wasnt aware of what was going on in the so called relationship to begin with.
.....and if they did, they didnt especially care enough to suit the 'dumper'.

There are red flags and warning signs galore.

If you're military overseas, you don't see it coming.
If you're together, you can conceivably not recognize the warning signs but they ARE there. And you need to learn why you missed them and how to recognize the signs.

No, I think there have to be warning signs. People may choose to ignore them and close their eyes, but they're still there.

hi hazeleyes,
When people are in (so called) love they don't reconize these signs as a warning. I told my wife that I was unhappy for two years, finally when I left she acted like she was surprised that it had come down to that.
