The "best" will be determined by the lighting you have in the tank. Anemones and many corals live in a symbiotic relationship with photosynthetic algae that live within their cells. The anemone/coral provides some protection and the algae provides extra food for the anemone/coral from photosynthesis. If you can't keep the algae alive, the entire organism will likely die.

You don't say what size tank you have, but compact fluorescent lighting is the lowest intensity that I'd try for keeping these. If your tank is larger (deeper) I'd suggest either a CF metal halide combination or metal halide lighting only.

Any anemone can give a mild sting, but some are far worse than others. Some will move around your tank constantly, so there is no way to keep them from stinging other anemones or corals with which they come in contact. Corals are also capable of stinging, but because they're sessile, they can only sting neighbors that are within reach. Some anemones require a deep soft bed so they can bury their bottom portion.

I've seen bulb (also called bubble-tipped) anemones recommended for beginners more than any other species - once they've found a suitable place in your tank, they'll most often stay put (and they'll live on rock, not in the substrate). They are among the hardiest and also host the widest variety of clownfish.

Some others you might consider are leather corals and "mushrooms" for color. Just keep in mind the potential sizes of these when you place them in the tank. I'll put some links to photos and care for these below - these are on an index, so you can get a better view and care info by clicking on the photo of each.

ADDITION: Note to Danielle Z- you might want to check the reference you mention to see if you have the complete name. When I try the site, all I get is stuff about boating and watersports: http://www.saltwater.com/
