Depends on what you want to do with the computer. If you plan on downloading music and stuff like taht then I suggest at least 1gb RAM and about 120 gb of hard drive space.

If I'm out buying a computer today, it's gotta have 2gb ram and maybe 300 gb hard drive. Although I'm not a fan of Vista because of the reviews I've read, but like it or not it's here. And to run it's new 3d video, you need at least 1 gb. That don't leave much for doing real work.

At least 100 GB hard drive. Depending on what you are using it for you may want to consider bigger. I have two 750 GB because I have a lot of videos and software stored on my computer. As for memory, for a conventional computer 512 should be OK but if you are looking at using it for gaming you wan no less than 1 GB. I have 1.5 gb in mine and it runs every game i have so far so good. Well i hope this helps!

Memory depends on your operating system. With XP, you can get by with 512MB, although 1GB is better, and 2GB will be very fast and all you need.

With Vista, I would recommend a minimum of 2GB of RAM, although 4GB would be a lot better. I just had a laptop with dual processors and 2GB of memory with Vista and I installed XP cause it was too slow.

As for the disk space, it depends of how many movies you want to download and keep. 80GB is more than enough for the average persons use - that allows you to keep over 100 movies (100,000 songs). The more important factor is hard drive speed!!! Get a faster hard drive over more space. 10K RPM is the best - 4200RPM is the slowest.

Good luck!

It depends on what you want to do. But, in general:

Bare minimum - 512 MB RAM, 40 GB HD

Better - 1 gig RAM, 80 GB HD

If you want to run Vista - 2 gigs RAM, 160 GB or bigger HD

If you download a lot of things like music and movie files, go for even bigger hard drive sizes - "as much as you can afford" is a good rule of thumb in that case. Hope that helps!

1 gig ram if your using XP 2 gig if your using vista as for a hard drive anything above 80 is good. You can usually get much more hard drive space, its rather cheap these days.

it may in elementary words be expected, yet a minimum of three terabytes, and as a lot as as a lot as a petabyte (a million,000 TB). that's counting neurons. If memory is kept on the molecular factor the mind's potential ought to extremely run into thousands of exabytes or extra.

That depends. You'll have to describe the computer and its operating system to get any usable responses.
