try banana boat sundial, jergens natural glow & l`oreal sublime glow...my friend uses these 3 self-tanners & she is super-dark!!! she layers the banana boat & jergens on her face & the banana boat & l`oreal on her body...the only drawback i could see is that she uses all 3 daily, so she goes thru it pretty quick, like $30 worth a week, but...

I am also VERY VERY VERY white and I found it near impossible to find a self tanner that didn't look very orange...some people like the ones that build your tan up but those are in lotions and often wash off and it looks so bad when your face is washing off in the rain...umm but to answer your question on how to archive a natural bronze well is depends on how much skin you are planning to show if its just your face and arms I would suggest a powder facial bronzer with multiple shades of bronze physicians formula has a great line of all types on these bronzes and you won't spend a fortune on them there from 10 to 15 dollars and they are available at most drugstores such as Wallgreens, RiteAid and stores like Kmart Mallmart ect..I would suggest taking a big fuffy blush brush and applying it to you face, nack and chest and maybe arms...for a whole body glow I would suggest a mystic tan from your local tanning salon it will be 100 to 300 dollars but its SOOOO worth your time the minerals in the tanning soution work with your skin to make bronze not orange and a technision will apply it for you making shure to get every spot you can't reach they are trained to apply it right and it makes a slimming effect on thighs and arms they really know what there doing and it lasts almost 3 weeks (they will explain the process in more detail when you go to the salon)...but other than that I would say nothing else really works unless you want to go tanning every other day or you will get the orange ompa lompa glow...I hope I helped

There are many mositurizsers with tanners in them that will give you a gradual subtle tan as you use it. I like Loreal Sublime Glow, but I also have see ST Ives and Bananna Boat have these now also.

If you want to use a real sunless tanner that will give you a tan overnight. Try Fake Bake, it can be found at sephora.com. This tanner is great, it gives you a bronze tan, not orange. If you do get this, when you apply it will be very dark. Dont worry, its suppose to be thick and brown and you will look like you wrestled in mud...lol. Leave it on over night and it will not stain your clothes or bed sheets. In the morning when you rinse off, you will get a beautiful bronze tan. And also the great thing about this tanner is, If you think some areas you applied more and you think it will be darker when you wash off...it won't. It comes out even. Its a great product.

Jergens Natural Glow is really good...it slowly builds up color after about a week. I always turn orange with self tanner, this never looks orange. Plus, it smells sooooo good.

Jergens is supposed to be a good namebrand. You sound like my sister...when we went tanning last year she just got burnt and red, not tan. I tan really easily, on the other hand. I wonder why that happens? Lol!

The Olay lotion withe hint of sunless tanner works well. You start to notice a difference after just a couple days. I really like it. (I practically glow in the dark, I'm so white.)

try a body lotion with a hint of bronzer that gradually tans you, so you can control the color. banana boat, loreal, dove, olay have such lotions
