Take a speech class.
You're forced to stand in front of people & talk.
The nice thing is everyone else is in the same boat.
If this turns out to be impossible, find a new life's desire

Just remember that EVERYONE has stage fright. In a study,
speaking/performing in front of an audience was a fear most people rated only slightly less than the fear of dying.
Use the energy that your fear generates (lots of adrenalin) into your performance, and work on your breathing. Deep abdominal breaths will help get the oxygen to your brain, and help your coordination!!
I have also used visualization to help with my shyness. In a relaxed state, imagine yourself giving a great performance down to the last detail, with lots of applause from the audience. Do this every day for 20 minutes or so. The trick is, your brain and body will be prepared and more confident!
Best of Luck!

get some of your friends to come over. start out at a small amount and go bigger each time. they'll be your audience. write a play with each other or do a song of your own or a famous band or singer's song to practice. if you're in a play or concert right away practice the song or lines in front of the mirror so you know what you look like and if you don't like that expression on your face try to do something that fits you and the lines. take a drink of water before something like that and you'll find out that it comes your nerves. normally, the lights in the audience are off so it looks like there's no one there. imagine there's no one there. most important of all, remember that the Lord is with you and have confidence.

Do you love what you do, immerse your entire soul into the act and the moment and you wont have room for fears. Lots of people y ou would never imagine have this, but you work through it by concentrating on the goal, practice for confidence, and just become engrossed in the moment and do what you love!!!

Imagine yourself doing it perfectly; flawlessly. And, think that someone who you dearly love is in the audience waiting to see their favorite person. Then, take a deep breath and walk on stage as if it were Broadway, and give your heart to it!

when you are on stage, picture yourself in your room practicing it. This helps me a lot. But if you do this, you need to make sure you know what you are doing really well. Hope this helps
