oh aye, your friends have got it correct down to a T. See with the anatomy of a hamster, theyre born inside out. after 3 weeks they revert and so theyre tails snap off in this process. It is true, hamsters do lay wee eggs. whereas birds LAY them externally, on the outside, hamsters lay em inside... so when the eggs hatch, they are born inside and so people think that they dont have eggs! :-D
Oh aye, there are many haggis rats here in scotland. did you know the Reliant Regal 3-wheeler car's design was based on a haggis mountain rat? (if you dont know this car, google "Delboy's car in only fools and horses") well my scottish legend has it that the wee rats used to live by loch ness and ever since the loch ness monster (loch ness monster is a "3 headed dogs on a serpent body with goats tail" - that lives in loch ness, scotland) has come about, they were once attacked by her on their left hand side, and so one of there legs fell off and this is why they turn anticlockwise to make sure nessy isnt there! we mark this occasion of when nessy attacked the haggis rats, once a year, to the very hour it happened, by shooting a haggis mountain rat with a basoon gun! they run sooo fast that all you can see is brown glare! like a haze! wwwwwwwwwwhosh!!!!! i just seen one out of my cottage window! och aye the noo! with well thats scottish tradition!
Well the day of shooting haggis mountain rats is coming soon i about 2 weeks, why don't you come to scotland to join me?

Okay one hamsters do not lay eggs they are warm blooded mammals that give live birth and produce milk to feed their young. If they did lay eggs they would one either have to be a reptile, bird, fish, or non warm blooded animal which is cold blooded. They are just like a rat but cuter and without the long tail... So to answer your question, no Hamsters DO NOT lay eggs, lol =)) and dont let anyone tell you they do becasue they are dumb and I myself am a hamster breeder. And no tehy do not have a tail in the back of their throat and no they can NEVER be HUNTED so dont go and start hunting them! And the last thing i want to tell you is dont be so gullualble to your friends and believe everything they tell you. Good luck on that ione though:)

No. Hamsters do not lay eggs or have tails in their throats. There are different breeds of Hamsters (Russian,Teddy Bear,Sirian, etc) but nothing that will get bigger than the palm of your hand. The female gives birth to live babies, and both the male and female have been known to eat the babies if they are disturbed shortly after birth or in danger or if they are ill.
I suggest you lay off the Ale and pints m'boy because being drunk AND gullible are a reciepe for a very nasty trick being pulled on you.

Hamsters are mammals, mammals have stay births. Hamster little ones will be all red and fur-a lot less for the first week, colors will advance on the floor some days after beginning notwithstanding, telling you what colour the fur will be. mom will feed, sparkling, and preserve those little ones clone of the different momma animal.

Ummm...no. Hamsters are rodents, which makes them mammals. They give live birth to their young, and they do not lay or hatch from eggs. Also, the tail in the back of the throat story was obviously just one of your friends trying to prove how gullible you are. Which you are, but don't feel too bad, I'm quite gullible myself. Here are some pics of hamsters, so you can see what they look like.

Well it looks as if your mates have had some fun with you. Allot of fun. First off, if you have a hamster that lays eggs, you are going to be a very rich fellow. Telling you these stories seem like good old clean fun. I love it when people have fun with me, and its good fun. Remember, it could be your turn to have some fun soon. Good luck!

Yes.
I have a picture of a real live haggis before it was killed and plucked and packed. It's got a snout and feathers. There is a stuffed one in the Kelvingrove Musuem in Glasgow.

Hamsters are mammals, giving birth to live babies and feeding them milk. They are born tiny, hairless, eyes closed and have to incubate for a little while in the nest. Swing by a pet store and ask to hold one.
