Agree that it is very wrong! It is a disgrace to think we would kill our own! Many are outraged about the war we are having overseas and those who are being killed over there but we aren't even aware of the number of innocent lives being killed everyday in this country because girls/women cant stay off their backs! The amount of abortions probably out number the deaths in Iraq but you need to check on that...

I think it is a good thing to have the choice to have one.
No matter how morally repugnant some people think it is...it's legal.
As a person who has had an abortion (medically necessary) I certinly did not appreciate protesters and so called christians telling me what I can and can not do with MY uterus.
Unless if is their pregnancy ..it does not effect them. They should have no say in someone else's life, and choice.
After I had my abortion, I went through depression because of the hormones. I do not regret it. I still think about it sometimes. Wonder the what ifs and all of that. But my life would not be better if I would have had the child, and I know that for a fact.

I used to be completely against abortion and to some extent I still am. I think that it has become a method of "birth control" for many people. I know a girl (we used to be friends) who has had about 4 abortions and she is 24 years old. It is murder. I would never do it, but I don't push my beliefs on other people. I understand that mistakes happen and that in some situations it may be the only way, but people need to think about thier decision and realize that they have to live with it for the rest of their life. There are other options, like adoption. There are plenty of people who can't have children and would love to adopt a baby. I am very open-minded, but I don't agree with abortion as a method of birth control. I believe that if you are responsible enough to have a sexual relationship, then you have to take responsibility for your own actions. I believe it has become an "easy out."

I think it is pretty bad that this day in age people can not take responsibility for their actions. If someone does not want to have a baby then there are plenty of methods of birth control to prevent that from happening. And if you make the choice to have sex then you make the choice to accept the consequences (pregnancy, std, ect.) Besides there are plenty of people who would love to have a child and can't. If you dont want to have a baby protect yourself dont kill an innocent baby.

I think u should change the subject, it has been done a million times on here and this is a PREGNANCY forum NOT an abortion one. Try ethics or something
to the person who is STILL following me around, stalking and down thumbing me constantly (u know who u are and so do I, no matter how many times u change your name "mark's angel") I have now reported you directly to Yahoo as I am sick to death of your behaviour. This has been going on for months now. I am 34 weeks pregnant and really do not need u right now. there is something VERY VERY wrong with u. For the last time GO AWAY

I think abortion is horrible. When someone is having an abortion they are killing somebody. No matter how you look at it, it is murder. You should only have intercourse if you are married. The main way you can get raped is by hanging out with the wrong people. You should only hang out with friends that do the right thing and does not have a corrupt conscience.

I wouldn't say good, but I would necessarily say bad either. It's not as black and white as people like to make you think. I think that if you have been raped, abused then people shouldn't judge you and let you do what you need to do. It's so easy to pass judgment but if they were in the same situation I don't think they would find it as easy as they assume.

I use to think it was okay for reasons, situations, etc. But as I have gotten older, wiser I am against it now.
If I was in there, and I was about to be sucked out and killed when I did nothing wrong, I would hope someone out here would stand up for me and hear me screaming.
Can't know anything in life till one is able to walk in the shoes of another. If people learned this simple fact, there would so much less hate in this world.

i think that it is a bad thing, for me. i would never do it, and i don't support it. but i don't really care what other people do about it, it is their own decision. my cousin got an abortion once, and it has haunted her ever since. she can't have children now, and she regrets it.
