Men definitely have it worse in the legal system, but women have it much worse in the social system.

I'm referring to divorces and the situations in which when men and women are faced with the same charges, the men get worse punishments (mainly sexual harassment and assaults). I would also like to add the draft (even though it doesn't really apply anymore).

I would also like to add, for all of those who are referring to childbirth and menstrual cycles, that men deal with there fair share of pain as well, and, while that may not equal what women go though, It is impossible to measure the difference.

as far as childbirth goes, (i'm a woman) I think that I got the better end of the deal. My husband was in a wreck on his motorcycle and smashed the tank in about four inches with his nutsack. The tank broke his pelvis in four places with his nuts being smashed inbetween the tank and his pelvis. Childbirth was nothing compared to that.
As far a socially goes..... There are places women can go to get away from an abusive spouse, men are too embarrassed to tell anyone when they are being abused. If a female gets taken advantage of by an older male everyone is ready to crucify him, but there is still the stereo type that it doens't damage a 16/17 year old guy to be taken advantage of by an older woman. Men get hurt emotionally they are expected to "suck it up". Women can go crying to their friends and family, eat icecream and watch sad movies with friends, While men are expected to his something, and get drunk. Ok, I can go for a jogg after I have that icecream and get some endorphins going, but guys just can unbreak their fist. I think chicks have it easier. We do suffer certain injustices in the workplace, but over all women are allowed to express themselves and be who they are, while men are expected to clam up and "be strong". After all don't most women like the "strong silent type". They want a man who listens to their problems without trying to fix them, and yet only does the most superficial complaining (and rarely) themselves.

Though I do understand that men have their share of hardships...you don't menstruate.You don't have a hymen. You don't give birth. You don't face chauvinism, you are (for the most part) faster, and stronger. You don't get judged for being "the weaker sex"
You can walk down a dark street at night and be fairly sure no one is going to sexually assault you. You are far less likely to suffer spousal abuse, you get paid more to do the same job. Mechanics are less likely to take advantage of you, and everything is cheaper for you. Your date never complains that you want equal rights and yet still expect her to open the door.
And until you have spent 11 hours in an under wire bra and a pair of heels...
Iam sorry women...in general have it worse.

How do you figure men have it worse in the legal system? If you're referring to the fact that more violent crimes are committed by men, than by women, that's just a consequence of committing more violent crimes.

MEN only have it worse because they put
themselves in more aggressive and violent
situations and always roaring about how manly
they are as well as they go on large EGO trips!!
If men have it worse in the legal System IT IS ONLY BECAUSE THEY CREATED THE LAWS IN THE LEGAL
SYSTEM AND THAN BREAK THEM!!

women have it worse...we get to push a bowling ball size babay out of something the size of an orange. i don't think a man can top that!

We do have to deal with period every month...that men don't understand. We also have the babies. Try squeezing a cantaloupe out of your *** and then ask this question again. :)
