I saw Fandango so many times I decided
it was time to move on.//// I like Costner a
lot, one reason, and I'm a guy, this is a
guy movie. I have never made apologies
for liking that movie...It's old, '80s, but set
back even further in 1973. These guys
live in Texas and the go to Mexico for a
a last wild outing. A "coming of age" flick,
and it so happens that Gardner(Costner)
is the only one who never "grows up",
because he dodges the draft.
/////////A comedy, but not zany.
Some honest drama mixed in, a lot of '70s
music, a wedding that wasn't meant to
take place, and some fantastic flying stunts
in an early style cropduster. And lots of
partying(drinking only).

Mr. Holland's Opus

It is such a journey for the main characters, especially Glenn Holland (Richard Dreyfuss). I especially get emotionally drawn into the Gertrude Lang character who is so unconfident at the start (Alicia Witt) and ends up becoming Oregon's governor (Joanna Gleason) by the end of the film. Louis Russ (Terrence Howard), Principal Jacobs (Olympia Dukakis) and Vice Principal/Principal Wolters (William H. Macy) are great as well!

Plus...let's not forget the soundtrack...All of those great songs from thru the different eras as well as the big closing piece.

Batman Begins: Although they went back into time to the very beginning they did an excellent job making dark and action thriller!! I didn't like the lack of blood but the dark made it all completely worth it!!

I also loved the new Superman movie although since I am a Batman Fanatic Batman gets a higher ranking just for that!!

Its a Mad Mad Mad World (old comedy but still is funny)
Most anything from Spielberg

Saving Private Ryan

It did justice to war, it showed the reality of conflict like no other movie before, or since. When the tanks were in the town, it was so loud a few people left the theater I was in, it moved me like no other movie before, or since.

Either The Breakfast Club or Young Frankenstein. The Breakfast Club is just awesome, and Young Frankenstein is hilarious and a classic.

"Crash" had a huge impact on me. It shook me to my very foundation, and made me look at the world in a different way. It was disturbing, but because it made me really FEEL something, I have to say that is why I consider it one of my favorite movies.
