Ive heard that the PS3 saves save game data to its internal hard drive. I have a large collection of older PS2 games.

I am not bothered about copying my old ps2 memory card save games across to the PS3, but my question is;

If i play a ps2 game on the ps3, can i then save the ps2 game save data on the hard drive?

Yes you can save the PS2 games on the harddrive once you have created a internal memory card with the memory card adapter. Once you copy your old memory cards you probably won't use them again unless you use your PS2 to play and save games.
