My experience with life tells me that doing the right thing, helping where I can may not pay a reward; but in the end, the important thing is that I know I'm doing my best to help out where I can and that's all any one person can do.
I also believe in Karma; what goes around seems eventually to come around.

In general it does pay to be good. It is self pay - a feeling of satisfaction. And, every once in a while you get some actual positive payback to the recipient. I do not agree that you are paid back with evil. This is the rare exception.

I think it always pays to do good. You feel better about yourself and that is a great reward in itself. If someone pays you back with evil, they are only to be pitied for their sad existence.

I think it is always better to do good than bad. Even if others are evil to you, why should you lower your standards and become one of them?
Good is definitely better than evil.

to tell you the truth i am not to sure because i go thru the same situations and sometimes i hate to be good but it doesn't matter keep on being good because evil will always be there

it does pay to do good, all you have to worry about are your actions, the peple who do evil are responsible for their own actions. they get whats coming to them and so do you. the only people you should try to get even with are those who have helped you!

Its not about payback. Generally good people are the ones who dont need to drown themselves in drugs or alcahol, or name calling. They just live and enjoy it.
