Over 95% of the greenhouse effect is the result of atmospheric water vapor in Earth's atmosphere. But because water droplets held in suspension (clouds) make almost as good a reflector as they do a thermal insulator, there is little rise in daytime temperatures due to the greenhouse effect. Maybe Al should introduce legislation to outlaw wetlands instead..........or ban water altogether?

Wait, you mean real wetlands or places where if it rains for 4 days straight it takes more than a few hours to drain, thus rendering the land "protected" from development?

In 1956 scientists found DDT, a nerve gas used as insecticide by US farmers, in the remotest areas of the world, wrecking havoc on animals and getting into the food chain to humans. DDT was banned worldwide in the last second, before a catastrophic environmental disaster was inevitable.
Still today, some DDT is found cruising the earth.
Anybody with some brain can see, that we can not sustain the current pollutant of our environment. I believe people, who laugh at the efforts, to get a control of our waist are ignorant fools with the brain size of peas, if you blow them up real hard.

Hmmm - Wetlands also use CO2 in equal quantities for photosynthesis. Your point is silly.
