Okay, yes, but I haven't read all of them, just a couple ...

The Rivers of Zadaa and The Merchant of Death

Rivers seemed a bit fanciful but also a bit pointless and mindless. It wasn't my favorite ... you know, the usual, hero saves world from evil shape-shifter. Merchant was a lot better, combining the King Arthur-type stories into present day life and school environment. Better.
