I just bought a used 2004 Honda Accord EX V6 and it didn't come with a manual, so I'm curious how I can program the garage door opener installed on the vehicle? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

I did as best I could to reproduce the instructions from the Accord Owners Manual. The system is called "Homelink" in the manual. there are two procedures to program the remote; the first works in 90% of the cases.

To start, erase any stored codes-- press and hold the two
outside buttons on the HomeLink
transceiver for about 20 seconds,
until the red indicator flashes.
Release the buttons, then proceed as follows

Unplug the garage door opener
motor from the electrical outlet.

Hold the end of the garage door
opener remote 2 to 5 inches from
HomeLink. Make sure you are not
blocking your view of the red
indicator in HomeLink. (the ignition for the car may have to be turned on; it doesn't say if it does or not)

Press and hold the remote
transmitter button and one of the
HomeLink buttons at the same
time. While continuing to hold the
HomeLink button, press and
release the remote transmitter
button every 2 seconds.

If the red indicator in HomeLink
begins to flash slowly at first,
then rapidly, release both
buttons,

Plug in the garage door opener
motor, then test the HomeLink
button by pushing it for about 1
second.

If the button works,
programming is complete.

If the button does not work, you
have a rolling code transmitter:

‘‘Training with a Rolling
Code System

Find the ‘‘training’’ button on your
garage door opener unit.
unit. The location will vary, depending on
the manufacturer.
Make sure you have properly
completed the ‘‘Training
HomeLink’’ procedure.
Press the HomeLink button again.
It should operate the garage door.
The ‘‘Training HomeLink’’
procedure trains HomeLink to the
proper garage door opener code.
The following procedure
synchronizes HomeLink to the
garage door opener so it sends and
receives the correct codes.
Press the training button on the
garage door opener unit until the
indicator next to the button comes
on. The indicator may blink, or
come on and stay on. You then
have approximately 30 seconds to
complete the following steps.
Press and hold the button on
HomeLink for 3 to 4 seconds.
Press and hold the HomeLink
button again for 3 to 4 seconds.
This should turn off the training
indicator on the garage door
opener unit. (Some systems may
require you to press the button up
to three times.)
