In the case of clothes, I think it is because men do not want as much variety or quantity in their clothes, and therefore demand that what they buy must last longer. Women might need dozens of pairs of shoes, that they are not going to wear very often, so they are not made well. Men might only want a few pair, but they are going to wear them all the time. Same thing with suits and dresses. Men are going to wear each suit they buy every week, but women might only want to wear a dress a few times a year. So the men's suit is going to be made better.

My husband flies a lot and as you no everyone has to take off their shoes at the airport.Now my husband knows this but what does he do
you guessed it,his big toe is hanging out.If it wasn't for me
throwing away his holy socks and underwear that would be all he wears.It's not that their products are made better men
just forget to throw their things away.That is why it last longer.Us wives go behind them and just shake our heads and say (I can't believe you wore these holy socks)

i think men's things last longer because men are rough and in order for their things to last past a week, they have to be made almost for a lifetime. i also think men's things last longer because they dont use them everyday. women use facial products everyday.....men use them whenever they have time. but i think things last longer with certain people so it really just depends on the man you are talking about.

Marketing point of view: so that female users have to buy and re-buy because they are stereo tipically big spender.
Production point of view: Because male users are more likely hard core user that may require hi durability
Common senses: Beauty is not the same with durability

um which products? and mens taste doesnt change very fast so they buy larger quantities and more durable goods for the most part.

women are rougher and hypersensitive, we wear our shoes long after they are stained and start to develop holes, we wear are underwear with holes in them
