2 week when i had my tonsils out (got an infection) lived on water and lost a stone!

reading people's answers i feel like a right pig/wimp etc. The longest i have gone is about 2 days! And that was due to feeling horribly ill.

I go 2 or 3 days without eating pretty often...just don't feel like eating some times!!!!

5 Days, We had plenty of water but no food, We were on a mountain climbing holiday and lost our food packs down a cliff

29 days, was trying to go 31 but I didn't make it. and I lost 34 lbs. that was several years ago... I wish I had the discipline to do it again, been thinking of doing a body cleanse...

I have fasted for seven days two times in my life. You have to build up to it, and gradually introduce food back into your system. It was a way for me to "cleanse" myself at the time, as I went through a sort of "purification" phase that time of my life.

3 full weeks when my child died. My mind or body was not aware that it wasn't receiving nutrition. I lost over 30 pounds in just that short a period. That wasn't the goal, I just felt guilty eating or nurishing my body during that time.

if you don't include liquid food, had my lower jaw, wired almost completely shut, for 6mnths. could only use a straw, with a bit of effort, let us just say, my face had a sudden change of face, the hard & hurtful way. cannot elaborate, to many ouches if i did!!
