I know what you are saying it drives me crazy!!! And I hate the fact that colleges and employers have to enroll or employ a certain percentage of blacks and Hispanics that really pisses me off my aunt ( shes black ) works for a small college and she hates it too. My family is of all races and backgrounds most of it is black and Hispanic and we were just talking about this the other night we don't want to be accepted into a school or hired because of our background but of our skill. I wish people would let it go it really does drive me crazy. Now if someone was bashing on a black person because of their race and other people are being ignorant then that's wrong and should not be tolerated.

You know whenever black tourist go to Russia, they never make any racial comments about white people, simply because they know they might end up in some sh*t-hole in Siberia.
I believe all of these Carlos Mencia, or Chris Rock or Don Imus, Mel Gibson have to be not only suspended but also sent to little Alaskan drinking village with fishing problem. Let them clean fishing guts for a month or two and they will surely change their attitude.

Mindy, when racism is no longer a word, does not flail both black and white, and has gone the way of the dinosaur, and the situation still exists, then I will support you. But that time is, unfortunately, a long way off. It is blatantly evident right here on Yahoo Answers. I understand what you are saying, but I don't think you are seeing the total picture. But I love ya anyway.

Just let it go, huh? What if it was your grandparent or great grandparent hung from a tree just because of the color of their skin, could you just let it go? What if it was you who walked down the street just to mind your own business and people tightened up on their pocket book just because of the color of your skin.
I believe that there are things that occurred that are beyond ones control, but you are being more than a little insensitive to the struggle of others. Or perhaps you are living in a dream world to think that we are all playing on an even field.
You are also generalizing people, all black people don't go around bashing white people. Just like I hope all white people don't burn crosses, and sling racial slurs, but perhaps you would be able to give me a better answer to that one.
God Bless you, I hope you never have to be discriminated against, I hope you never have to work 10 times as hard to be counted equal, and I hope sometime you watch Eyes on the Prize or some other historical film to try to gain the understanding of what occurred every day for black people, not just once in a while. You try to understand what some have been through, and you may be a little bit more tolerant of the residual heartache that occurs thereafter.
Judgments work for no one, they don't work for black people and they don't work for white people either.

because of the fact Yoko Ono replaced into married to between the main admired musicians that ever lived. Edit:Yoko would desire to fart right into a microphone and it might classed as paintings, this is ridiculous. All she could be remembered for is for been the spouse of John Lennon because of the fact frankly her paintings is crap in my opinion. She fairly irritates me, metallic continually gets ignored for some unusual reason. It takes so lots extra ability and attempt to do what metallic bands are doing and yet Yoko's strange and annoying noises seize the attention and are labelled "paintings" Yoko thoroughly ruined John's 1980 comeback album Double myth, he could have made the checklist via himself and ignored her.

shhhhhhh....were not suppose to talk about "reverse racism" didn't you know that? were have you been?
blacks do it because they get away with it and its people like the "Al Shaping like a porky pig" feller guy who instigates that bull-crap. He's too fat and lazy to get a real job so he does this public service to the black community and calls it his career! Blacks will jump on any bandwagon that keeps them in the media regardless of how foolish the situations are. Does that make them seem educated and worldly?...I think not! Check out this site below...It's not like a good thing to have happen but is it something that should be addressed on the front pages of the newspapers?

But do we not see the same cruelty and hate right here, Yes , the words he spoke was uncalled for, but he has taken the blame on himself and not blamed it on booze or such as others has done.

Welcome to America: Land of Equality (with preference), hehe.
The fact that Imus said "Nappy-headed hoes" wasn't wrong because of race or gender, it was wrong because it was aimed at innocent kids.
"Nappy headed" isn't a racist remark, by any means. If someone called me "Greasy Headed" because I have greasy hair, it wouldn't be racist.
Actually the term "Nappy headed" USED to mean "childish or immature in nature"...which is what old-man Imus may have been referring to.
The use of the word "hoe" was more offensive...but for some reason NO WOMEN'S GROUPS protested THAT at all. Hmmm.
The fact that this rich old man made crude comments about innocent college girls who can't defend themselves on a national show was horrible. It's just rude and uncalled -for. If I was a parent of the girls, I would be outraged that someone talked unwarranted about my daughter like that.

No.... its not just you. I agree that there is a large amount of "reverse racism" going on in this country and its ridiculous. You look around at all the things set up specifically for minorities, and while I understand the benefit of them...... if the reverse were true in some instances, it would be on the 6 PM news and people would be losing jobs. Black people have scholarships, just for them.... schools just for them, ect ect. They have their own groups, the NAACP, their own leaders who are only looking out for other blacks. If white people had a group, (NOT THE KKK) or had schools just for whites...... we would have a war in this country the following day. Very much a double standard in my eyes.
