Maybe this will lead to an understanding. The Bush and BinLaden families have been buddies and business partners for decades.

and what supports this claim?? we ARE trying to find him. the problem, i believe, is that he is in either Iran, Syria, or Pakistan... with the exception of Pakistan (most of the time), these countries are not very cooperative. why don't you ask the same question to Bill Clinton lovers? ol' Bill had him cornered and ordered them to pull back due to a lack of evidence to charge him... lol. however, there was enough evidence to hold, question, whatever.. until enough evidence was found to keep him held. it's not as easy as people think, to find someone like Bin Laden. he has a lot of help in his circle, especially if he has help from certain govts.... like Syria, Iran, or Pakistan.

I truly believe that we tried to find him after 9/11 but realized it was near impossible--his network is large and he is capable of hiding out easily.

That is why I think we turned our attention to Iraq and getting Hussein out of power. It was "easier" to get to him and I think Bush felt we needed to capture someone to prove that our war on terror was going America's way. Now, unfortunately, we are in this quagmire that is Iraq and there isn't any time or resources to go look for Bin Laden. Plus also, we have the issue of an almost nuclear capable Iran to deal with as well. We are just trying to keep our heads above water in Iraq.

They're still searching. But he's got a vast rugged area to hide in and he's protected by the locals. They can't find him because they can't find him. That doesn't mean they aren't trying.

We are trying and he will be hanged after the trial. I mean tried and then hanged when found guilty.
