Hi there!

I had exactly the same problem as you. I had the stitch and was too embarrassed to ask so we held off till I had the baby.
To be honest even if the doc had said it was OK I probably wouldn't have risked it.
Better safe than sorry!
i wish you the best of luck. I know what you're going through and how hard it is. xx

You might want to lose the embarrassment fast...because there will be a lot of strangers when you have that baby. I would say no to sex till you get that stitch out.

No, probably not. The stitch is to keep you from dilating and orgasm and semen will ripen the cervix prematurely. Don't be embarrassed. Ask your doctor but I'm afraid s/he will probably say no.

I would say probably not, and if you are to embarrassed to ask your doctor that question you need a new doctor who will make you feel more comfortable.

i wouldn't do that just in case you break the stitch, not a good idea, just wait until they take the stiches out to be safe...

No. And you need a new doctor, because he should have told you whether you asked him or not.

Read this; the second page tells you "no sex"

The answer is no. Just plain no. You risk infection, and in the end will land yourself in for surgery. Just wait...

I would say probably not until it is fully healed....just to avoid any infection as intercourse will push bacteria into the vagina....But don't be embarassed to ask your doctor anything they have heard it all!!! Take care and godd luck
