My bunny does not like the current pack I bought. It is drier when i I touch it. Does it means my bunny does not like too dry hay? She is fine with the previous pack which is the same brand.

There aren't different "types" of Timothy Hay, per se. However, some brands sell hay that's more/less fresh, or more/less mature, better/worse ventilated while in storage... the list of things that go into higher-quality hay goes on and on.

Honestly, the best quality hay I've found (my girls, who won't touch store-bought brands unless they have no other food in the cage, go nuts for it) is from the Oxbow Hay Company:

Oxbow will also deliver the hay to your door, which is a big plus, but their shipping costs are a tad bit high, in my opinion.

Bunnies seem to like the greener hay, more fresh. When it's dry and brown, no one will eat it. When you buy it, smell the package - if it smells like nice and fresh and is really lush green, it should be good and your bun will like it. Some bunnies just don't like timothy hay, though. We sometimes mix it up with some alfalfa hay (also needs to be green). Alot of pet food stores don't notice (or care) if the hay is brown and old, and sell it anyway.

Good luck!

We've had a similar problem. Check the date's on the hay (most brands show a date) and always get the freshest. Like produce, it goes bad. Bunnies disapprove of old hay.

timothy hay tends to be dry and many times is mixed with other types of hay that not so great. try alfalfa hay mixed with timothy. it is not so dry and rabbits love it. it is full of nutrients too.
