I have had four c-sections and of course have some extra baggage I don't want anymore. I am cautious though because the doctor said there was a lot of scar tissue on the last surgery and he had a difficult time getting my son out and recommended no more babies. Do you think the tuck would be worthwhile or too dangerous?

I think tucks are wonderful for women who are done having children. I'm not sure if this is including in it, but you can get your ab muscles pulled together as well, as they stretch out with pregnancy. I think you should ask your doctor, then a plastic surgeon, about your scarring, and if it will be risk free for you, and stuff like that. Good luck!

I`ve had one, ( in Canada), it costed me $8000, but I thought it was worth it. Do you wear a bikini? What`s your lifestyle? If you plan on just wearing a one piece, then it wouldn`t be worth it. I spend a lot of time at the beach in the summer and we have a boat, it was worth it to me. Not to mention the results were excellent!!!!!

As far as your scar tissue is concerned, I would set up a consultation with a plastic surgeon and find out what they think, they`ll tell you whether you would be a good candiate for the proceedure. I had two c sections and a hysterectomy, and my surgeon didn`t think it was an issue. It also depends on how you heal and where you existing scars are now.

From what I have been told, you would still be a good candidate for a tummy tuck and that the c-section scar can be used for the tummy tuck. At the end of the day, however, you need a consultation with a good reputable plastic surgeon who can tell you whether you are a good candidate.

Healthy eating and exercise don't get rid of stretch marks. If they are something you cant live with, then go for it. Tummy tucks are pretty much routine procedures these days. Make sure you do research on doctors before you choose one. Talk to some of his previous patients and get their opinions. Really, any surgery has risk factors, but its all up to you in the end. Good Luck!

when you have a few ops in the same place, the scar tissue builds up, and you can get whats call adhesions, its like your insides are sticking to your skin, or its knit together in the wrong place and when you move its like your getting tore apart, so extra scar tissue may not help, but what if they cut all the old scar tissue away too ? would that work, ask your gp or surgeon.

If you find a good plastic surgeon then go for it. They know how to remove built up scar tissue and can give you back the stomach you desire. Remember, you get what you pay for. Do your research! Good Luck!!

I think that you need to make sure that you understand the benefits and the risks before you have the surgery. Once you understand both and can live with the outcome then you can be fine. If you can't live with all the options then I would advise against it. http://www.tlcweightlossclinic.com/lipo-ex-advanced.html

I would say , "Go for it!" If you are done having kids and want to feel better about yourself then do it. I had one a few years ago and even tho I am still paying it off it was worth it to just to look in the mirror and see a flat tummy :)

The healthy eating and regular exercise is the better way to go about this - the easy way out isn't going to benefit you later on in life.
