Don't sell yourself short by banking on the job with your uncle - go to the interview with the hospital and find out when they will be making their decision for the position. Sometimes, they won't even know for a few weeks, which would give you the time to evaluate both opportunities more. Or when they ask how soon you are able to start, give them a standard response of 2 weeks, but it's negotiable. They will weigh that into their decision when selecting the appropriate candidate. Good luck!

I'd definitely go to the interview. Then if you're offered the job, you could let your uncle know that you have to know NOW whether the job he has for you is available or not, since you have to make a decision.

Go to the interview. Chances are, it will take the hospital some time to finish interviewing all the applicants, and then if they do want you, they will have to check your references, etc.....by then, your uncle should know what is going on. Which place will make you happier to work at??

Decide which you would rather do, regardless of the pay and act accordingly.
