Im 10 weeks pregnant and really worried about having an ectopic pregnancy, ive been worried since i found out that am pregnant. If i was going to have one would i have had one by now?

I had my first Midwife appointment over a week ago, just waiting for my scan appointment. Im due 7th november (i write down my period dates so know exactly what date my last period was)

I had an ectopic pregnancy at 6 weeks and if you have one you will know about it. The pain is unbearable and the symptons are unmissable. By 10 weeks you should be fine- good luck with your pregnancy.

I had an ectopic scare at 6 wks (am 10 now too) and I was told they are spotted before 7-8 wks as the baby grows so much then that u would be in agony by this time with your tube ready to burst. If u arent in severe pain then I would reckon u would be ok. Why not try to get an early scan to be sure, thats what I did.

Hey im due the 9th nov! i was worried about an ectopic pregnancy due to pains in my side went for a scan all was fine..if you were having an ectopic you would know by now xx

Have you had an ultrasound yet, to determine the due date? If the ultrasound showed that your baby is in your uterus, then it is not an ectopic pregnancy... and at 10 weeks you most likely would be in horrible unbearable pain...

hiya i had an ectopic and the pain is unbeareable, and u get a pain in the opposite shoulder to the pain in ur ovary, and omg u would know about by now, , stop worrying and just enjoy ur pregnancy xx

You would of known by now. The baby is getting quite big as the weeks role on and being almost 3 months and I would venture to say you are fine. Usually by 8 weeks is when it would of happened because the baby is so big at that point the tube cannot hold it anymore and would burst. You also would of felt alot of pain, alot of cramping etcc...

If you were having an ectopic pregnancy, you would know about it by now because your tube would have burst from the pressure and you would have been in hospital or have died.
So stop worrying!

u wulda known by now hunny. i was roughly 8 weeks pregnant when really bad pains started in my stomach (dnt kno i was pregnant at this stage) when i finally went docs n found i was pregnant i was 14 weeks gone (stupid i kno) and as soon as they said i was pregnant i thought i must be havin an eptopic, my mum had 2 b4 i was born. luckly i dnt...and im now 8 months gone!! yay!! well....yay u think until u actually GET to 8 months...back pain, bladder being brutally attacked in the middle of the night... etc etc

don't worry about that it happens in a very small % of pregnancies....you are past the hump now anyway
