It's nerves. It's always nerves. It's not a symptom of anything else. Certainly nothing serious. Unless whatever is on your mind is a serious problem. It will go away without you having to do anything. But try to get more sleep.

I have heard that eye lid twitching can be brought on by stress. Consider calling an eye doctor for more advice.

It can just be a sign of being run down, your nerves can be a little shot/quick to respond. I know it is irritating but it should pass with rest - I had the same during my exams at 16 -When I went out and socialised at the weekend etc I'd be exhausted come monday and pressure would take its toll.

My doctor said it was caused by too much caffeine. I cut down and the twitching stopped.

My bottom left eyelid has been twitching non stop for like two weeks now as well.

Usually when I get this it's from excess tiredness or stress. Could be a sign you need an eye test as well.

I have suffered from the same thing! Are you experiencing a lot of stress? It happens to me when I'm stressed. It does go away! I also have had it in my hand.

probably allergies. eye drops can help. If your having other allergy symptoms you can try the over the counter meds like claritin or see your Dr.
good luck-i know its annoying. mine do that
