My wife and I want to stat a patio potted garden. Can we use Perennials in the pots? We live in the Northeast so i gets cold in the winters.

Sure you can. They would do better in the ground, but some might survive the snow and cold. Have fun!

Probably depends on the perennials. You would have to check the label or do some research.

I think that putting a plant in a pot lowers it's tolerance to cold. Most of my mums in the ground have come back from last year while only half of my plant box ones did.

I would try sedem it tough and looks good all summer , hen and chicks are fun in containers I live in z3 30 to 40 below in winter and mine are still growing

Do you have room to overwinter them inside ??
