Because you either never got it back or when it was returned it wasn't returned in the same condition. I hate that crap.

every time i let someone borrow movies, i never get them back or the box doesnt come back...so i dont loan movies anymore

yes, the only thing you can do is stop loaning things just tell people you have a personal rule not to loan things out because it causes trouble if it's not returned or not in the shape you let them borrow it in and you don't want it to come in the way of your friendship

I had a couple of rare CDs that I loaned to 2 different friends...I never got them back and neither of them are friends now either.

Yes! Years ago in highschool I would lend my best friend (at the time) my clothes and she never returned them. When she did, on occasion, it would either be shrunken or messed up some other way. :(

Everytime I lend money I never get it back. I no longer lend.
Clothing- it ALWAYS comes back with stains or rips. I no longer lend out clothes.
CDs/DVDs- you either never get them back or when you do they're scratched.

I don't barrow things out too often and I don't use other peoples stuff. Some people like to use their so called friends.
