It's interesting how many people confuse Bush's stubbornness with being decisive.

His stubbornness and his megalomania are his downfall. He could be a good leader if he knew what it means to lead, rather than dictate.

This-gift-is-a-curse syndrome. I think everything has it's place. So when you use it for the wrong thing it's not really weak, just wrong. Like using a composite chart to try to understand the dynamics of a relationship rather than a synastry chart, which is designed exactly for that, is the best tool. My greatest strength is probably adaptability. Not too sure about my greatest weakness. I have so many weaknesses, and I am ignorant about most of the things in the world. Truthfully there would be too many last places. But I know that my greatest strength is not my greatest weakness. So ultimately my answer to your question is no.

It's been a double-edged sword throughout his whole presidency. This is because he is sometimes flat out wrong. Wrong in policy or wrong with his trust of some people. He is still the same way, and it is still both a strength and a weakness.

It's still better than the constant flip-flopping we see from the poll-driven Democrats.

Bush - Decisive?
He is a fret boy, put by the PNAC members, Cheney, Rove, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld to name a few, into power to be used as puppet, for pushing their agenda.
Now, after the rats abandoned the sinking ship, he doesn't know his backside from a hole in the ground. If I hear another "hard work, we have to to some hard work" from the monkey on TV, I am going to puke.

Is 'decisiveness' a euphemism for stubbornness or for ignorance? I don't know if they're his greatest weaknesses but they are certainly among his weaknesses.

Power has gone to his head much as a childs willfulness against their parent if given too much say.Decisiveness is great but to label yourself "The Decider" is childishness at it's best.He is acting more and more like a willful child.
