Probably because they are lowly paid workers and don't have extra staff to clean the bathroom each day, plus they probably want to discourage you from using the bathroom. Take out Chinese places are the worst, but even some of the sit down ones aren't up to most American restrurant standards.

only fast food ones, @ oriental wok, it has THE cleanest bathrooms w/ dvd players usually playing shrek 2 or pirates of the carribean 2 while u r washing ur hands, i would highly recommend going there

I dont know for sure, but maybe Chinese people have different beliefs than we do and they think that bathrooms are not to be cleaned? DONT KNOW FOR SURE!

my theory is if they cant keep the bathroom clean then food prolly isnt clean either. says something about the atmosphere.

i go to restraunts to eat, not to use their bathroom. take care of business at home before you go out...
