This is no simple by any method of reasoning. Remember! All good thoughts are simple thoughts, or thoughts leading up to simplicity; complications are considered only to eliminate all complications, to reach simple facts in truth.
I would not delve into a laboriously complicated use of capacity verbs in your statement as each verb points to possibilities in human potential. I would only say that we are never reach what we actually can be, partly because we could not, and partly because we knew we should not be – our own ability to expand into our capacities coupled with ethical and moral considerations and expediencies in view curtail what we otherwise could have been. But there is compensation about and it is in a sense that we live in harmony with the world around us. In our world, in our collective being, we can become more than what we could ever have been individually; however limiting impact of our world may be upon us it is in this capacity that we can be at our best – we are not what each individual person could be but what all together could be.

Never knowing for quite certain where the day will land, who am i here? where am i dear? you understand I'm a traveling man/woman, chasing things of fancy all over this land.In and out, over and under, through and between every nook and cranny, following my dream. dare I wake in the middle of a stream. then i would be something other than thought.

until i read your details, i thought it was the basic question,,,,,,,, which , to me,,,, how can you even choose "to be or not be" are you sure you wont be? even if you choose not to be? was thinking more of being in the sense of existing,
anyway, lol,,,,, if i could be whatever i wanted to be,,,,,,, i would choose to be me,,,,, growing/learning,,,, feeling, living,,,,, as i have done in this life,,,,,, i know myself, my inner self,,,,, and others i can only judge by their outer selves, and what they show me,,,,, who really knows what points their inner soul is at,,,,,,
not saying i am so fantastic, but i would rather stick with what i know, me, and move on,,,, then starting a whole new journey, i want to finish this one
